HISTORY
The ReGenerator product concept began at LymanMorse Technologies, the research and development arm of family-owned LymanMorse Boatbuilding in Thomaston, Maine. LymanMorse has built custom yachts for over a century, and today expertly brings together old-world craftsmanship with state-of-the art technologies, including electronics, composite materials, complex engineering and marine-grade construction. The idea of building a high-tech, mobile, clean energy generator was brought to LymanMorse by ZeroBase Energy founders Zach Lyman and Henry Gentenaar.

Our company’s founders are devoted environmentalists who spent much of their childhood visiting developing countries where many people live their lives with little or no access to energy. For those who do have energy, it is often in the form of fossil-fuel generators that are difficult to maintain, prone to breakage and tied to expensive, hard-to-get fuel. Fossil-fuel generators also emit noxious fumes and greenhouse gases that cause global warming and are harmful to humans, plants and animals.

THE POWER OF FREEDOM
That early experience drove ZeroBase Energy’s founders to create an energy device that combines the advantages of proven renewable energy components and marine-grade construction into one easy-to-use product that’s powered solely by the natural resources around us, and freed from the traditional energy system. The ReGenerator is a mobile, modular, multi-applicable renewable energy support unit that can deliver electricity naturally, without the need for fossil fuels, thereby displacing high-maintenance and expensive-to-operate carbon-emitting generators.
